The Governor and Mrs. Youngkin welcome all Virginians to visit the Executive Mansion to learn more about this treasured home. Free tours of the Mansion are available for individuals and groups at various times throughout the year.
Please note: In preparation for the third installation of The Art Experience at the Executive Mansion, Virginia's Executive Mansion will be closed for tours from Monday, August 19, 2024 to Monday, September 2, 2024. Tours of the new exhibit will begin on Tuesday, September 3, 2024. Thank you for your patience!
Digital archives of the last exhibit, "Do What You Love in Virginia," and The Art Experience's inaugural exhibit, "The Spirit of Virginia," are available in the Art Experience section of our website.
Regular Tour Times
Tours are available every Tuesday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
No appointment is necessary.
Please walk up to the Executive Mansion gate and let the Capitol Police Officer know you are there for a tour. An experienced docent will guide your tour and answer all your questions. Tours last approximately 30 minutes.
Considerations
If your group has more than 10 members, please email us at executivemansion@governor.virginia.gov, so we can try to accommodate you. All visitors entering the Executive Mansion for a tour will be subjected to a security screening.
The Mansion is fully accessible to visitors with special needs.
